Not discovered until the 1960s the BLUE LACE AGATE is a rather new acquaintance. On larger chunks its color and pattern resemble that of foaming waves or strokes of wings. No wonder this graceful stone has become a tool of spiritual calling. The Blue Lace Agate is first and foremost an excellent stone of meditation, bringing about the peace of mind and soft sensitivity that is known to attract angels and other good natured spirits. Another popular tool for communicating with divine spirits is The ANGELITE (in as much as its original name, Blue Anhydrite, nearly is forgotten). Discovered in 1987, this stone very fast became a tool for believers of The New Age, and is used as a ritualistic tool when developing skills of telepathic communication between people, or to communicate with angels.

For the ancient traveler AGATE would help him or her being calm in the midst of a storm, making it easier to find shelter. In large modern societies where the weather pretty much is neutralized by modern housing and wild predators have taken the form of ruthless bosses or hard boiled criminals, Agate is believed to protect its wearers from stress, relieving inner tensions or bitterness. Ancient mystics as well as modern ones also agree on that the Agate can transform its wearers into amiable and persuasive persons, and that they become quite successful as a result of that. As a tool for meditation Agate is excellent.

WHITE AGATE holds the typical abilities of Agates. What makes it stand out is that it also holds powers in connecting and communicating with angels and spirit guides, much the same way Blue Lace Agate does.

This mala is made out of AAA quality Snowdrift Agate beads from THE pioneer of fair trading of gemstones, Columbia Gem House. The Blue Lace Agate and Angelite stone beads are ethically sourced. The sterling silver lotus guru bead and spacers are all fair trade, each made by hand by the goldsmiths of the Karen Hill Tribe of Thailand. The fair trade Sandalwood beads come all the way from Tibet, and the tassel in light blue and white is made out of gleaming Rayon Silk. The length is approximately 22 inches (56cm) tassel included.

Care and Cleansing:
Crystals are absorbers and transmitters of energy, and in order for them to do their work, they need cleansing after use.

In order to cleanse this mala, leave it together with Hematite or Crystal Quartz overnight. You might also place it in your windowsill on a starry night, or smudge it.

Angelite must not be immersed in water. As it is a rehydrated stone it may show traces of white calcium mineral if exposed to water. Use a dry soft cloth for cleaning, or a polishing-cloth made for cleaning pearls.
The Blue Lace Agate and White Agate stones can be cleaned with a cloth with lukewarm water.

If you need to clean the tassel, do remember that silk is not particular fond of water. I suggest using a comb in order to release the tassel of dust. Do not clean this mala with chemicals. If stored properly and taken care of this mala might outlive you!

Placebo or Empowerment
To me crystals are powerful companions during meditations and in my daily doings. They do possess wisdom or connotes wisdom, they do empower me or I imagining they do. Truth to be told; I will never know for sure why crystals have such a positive influence on my life.
What I do know however is that no crystal alone can cure me of a severe chronic disability, or turn a doomed love affair into a happy ending. To be able to see what is possible and what is simply out of the question, is the first amendment in any book of survival-skills. That does not mean I don’t believe in miracles. Miracles are happening every day if you’re asking me! But as the complicated process of creating crystals reveals; miracles do not happen by itself.
